Last Day of School

June 15, 2013

I am still catching up over here. So May 31st was the last day of my freedom and my life school for the girls. They were all excited about it and couldn't wait for the day to come. And it came. A little too quickly for me.

There was a little recital thing for the parents. Emma played a piece on the piano and recited a poem, sang some songs together with her class. Alyssa too sang her little heart out in the group singing. It was entertaining as usual.

So now there's some uncertainty about the girl's schools for the next school year that I hope will be resolved by September. If everything goes as planned Emma would start 1st grade in the American school of Bulgaria. While Alyssa would stay at the same Russian school as she grew to love the teachers and the school.

  1. Wow, we'll cross our fingers and hope it goes as planned! It sounds like a great plan (and they look so cute in those sparkly dresses...)

  2. Aww. Natasha started Russian preschool this week! She is just going for the last two weeks of June before they close for the summer; then she will go again in the fall. Are the girls speaking Russian more now? Natasha stopped :(

    1. Natasha will start speaking Russian when she goes to school full time. I gave up on Alyssa long time ago and she surprised me a couple weeks before the end of school as she started speaking Russian to me. It was her initiative and I was so happy. She still keeps it up :)
