National Air and Space Museum

My high school girlfriend came to visit me for a couple of days. It was very fun to see her again, cause i haven't seen her for at least seven years. I miss those school days when we could just hang out and have lots of fun. We still had fun as much as we could with two kids. Olya made friends quickly with our girls. Emma loved her and would sit by her, walk by her and just sit there and watch her closely. Alyssa didn't really have a choice but be friends with Olya too. :)

 

So before Olya left we decided to go on another Washington DC trip. This time we went to the Air and Space Museum. It was quite interesting. I don't think Emma liked it or even understood anything from there, but oh well. She was a good sport walking around all the things and looking at everything. The space suit of the first human in outer space - Yuri Gagarin. I told Emma to hold his hand... :) The picture on the right is the closest we got to the Capitol. So we took couple of pictures there too.

 

And Alyssa was missing out on our picture taking... as usual :)

 

It was very nice to spend a day with my friend and my family. They are awesome. We did have a very nice time together. Then after we got home we watched on the news that there was a shooting right on the street we were walking but it happened like an hour after our walk. Crazy. Good thing we decided to go home earlier :)
